Bureau Veritas suffers cyber attack

The classification society Bureau Veritas suffered a cyber-attack on November 20 that forced it to temporarily shut down its servers and data systems. 

This is a preventive action it has had to take to protect its customers while investigations are carried out and appropriate measures are taken. As a result, customers may have experienced a slowdown of their services and interfaces. 

In addition, the incident response protocol has been activated and the relevant authorities have been informed in order to obtain additional support to get them back to normal as soon as possible.
